Devlog 2
Hello, this is the next devlog for the development of this game.
Once our idea was demonstrated and approved, we developed this devlog with some progress on the game. For this devlog, the most basic aspects of the game's core mechanics, "synergies," were developed. The "more weight"*, "less weight"*, and "dash"* abilities are in testing, along with certain interactions as a mini-tutorial (still incomplete).
Our plan for the next devlog is to finish programming the remaining abilities (which were under discussion), as well as begin including or creating assets and animations to prepare everything for level creation and other gameplay-related tasks. We may need to further balance the abilities and their interactions during development.
As a reference we have the following images, where you can see primitive versions of the powers (and even more primitive assets), how to cross an area with them, and a destructible wall with a certain combination (the powers are light*, dash* and heavy*):
